Finding Inspiration

Like a kid in a candy store

This is how I looked like when I am amazed.

I had admitted, over and over, that I am a paper addict and color-obsessed. When I heard about this place in Fitzroy from my teachers, I just had to go and visit. I am also a self-confessed anxious driver. Living in suburbia for so long, I have not ventured out to the tram areas. But I am getting there. If there’s a will, there’s a way. And my family is helping me to get out of my comfort zone. They are luring me with trips like these. So I buckled up, drove myself to my niece’s apartment for a girls’ day out last Saturday. We had brunch at Faraday’s Cage, visited Zetta Florence, got some croissants at Lune and explored a bit of Fitzroy for a day. Sweet. So glad my niece is so indulging to my fascination. Check out the pictures below.

I should do this more often, exploring Melbourne. (I am a local for crying out loud. 😆) Anyway, it was a fun day out. Our final stop was to go to Zetta Florence. We found it at last. I think we spent two hours there (no joke), browsing all the gorgeous handmade papers from Nepal, artful posters, gift wraps, cards, ribbons, seals and wax among others. It’s a feast for the eyes, and a great place to be inspired. It is safe to say that when you think of lovely stationery, this shop should be first in mind. (Oh, they have a cafe, too)

Very grateful that ‘we can Melbourne again’. That’s the goal. Let’s support our local shops, Mamas. Find where your interest lie and take time to visit.. You might find something really precious in there. I knew I have. Stay sunny always.
